Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zeledon Cloyo kicked off to start the match. Braulio Nalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Bixintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Manuel Benitez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Elizardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Beila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Benitez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Manuel Benitez came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Quilaquina AFC's Feliberto Nardo. But to his dismay, Feliberto Nardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliberto Nardo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Pascual Montxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Nalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute Prospero Beila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Benitez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Libertad FC booed when Quilaquina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Ralondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Prospero Beila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Benitez was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After 84 minutes, Rolando Ralondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quilaquina AFC and the Libertad FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Manuel Benitez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute of the match, Feliberto Nardo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manuel Benitez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Quilaquina AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
