Lorenzo Mancio charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Mancio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Zurdo FC booed when Plaza Jewell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Mancio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Plaza Jewell were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Higinio Lertxun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Plaza Jewell's Lorenzo Mancio got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 56 played minutes Plaza Jewell got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Mancio. In the 65th minute Edmundo Dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Mannuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Mannuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Dos Santos in the 71st minute of the match. Saul Mannuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Dos Santos in the 72nd minute of play. Nestor Tadzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Saul Mannuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Seber in the 88th minute of play forced Zurdo FC's goalkeeper Guillermo Timo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Silvestre Urtun fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plaza Jewell's protests and gave Silvestre Urtun a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Plaza Jewell getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Silvestre Urtun hit a great ball. Although Zurdo FC had been in control for most of the match, Plaza Jewell still came away with the win.
