NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Ramon Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Lore in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Casimiro Lore notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Ramon Calvino. Ramon Calvino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hipolito Mantzio hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 45th match minute, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Mantzio to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artemio Goiz during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adolfo Caitano hit a great ball. Ramon Calvino stood somewhat misplaced when Casimiro Lore came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 83 minute. Casimiro Lore had several of the NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Ramon Calvino as he didn't even see the shot coming.
