The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Emmanuel during the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeronimo Bertin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodrigo Rey. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Uzuri in the 47th minute of play forced ★Independiente Ψ★'s goalkeeper Rodrigo Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodosio Pudes to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Rey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute Jeronimo Bertin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Rey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Federico Normando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Pudes in the 58th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Jeronimo Bertin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Rey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jeronimo Bertin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato Emmanuel lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Donato Emmanuel hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Abel Uzuri kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Jeronimo Cordero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Normando having to interfere. If Mario Tipi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Federico Normando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Geleberto. Mario Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rodrigo Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 played minutes ★Independiente Ψ★ got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Felipo. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Baldomiro Guerrero got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bendito Sea El Fernet fully deserved thier win.
