The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ricardo Honrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Amadeo Amor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ignacio Macias showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. C. A. BELGRANO's Amadeo Amor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. BELGRANO from getting a goal against them. After 10 played minutes C. A. BELGRANO got a freekick which was hit by Federico Senon. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Francesco got free with Amadeo Amor in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sixto Lluis charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixto Lluis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of VERΛ booed when C. A. BELGRANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Lluis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Francesco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Amadeo Amor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Francesco got free with Amadeo Amor in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Macias got free with Amadeo Amor in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, VERΛ's Eleuterio Rami dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. A collision led to VERΛ getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Clemente Guillem hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. BELGRANO's zone, Rosendo Vito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Amor came out of the goal and Rosendo Vito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 played minutes C. A. BELGRANO got a freekick which was hit by Federico Senon. Ignacio Macias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Amor having to interfere. Amadeo Amor made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ignacio Macias sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Amadeo Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Garikoitz in the 56th minute of the match. C. A. BELGRANO's Amadeo Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Macias in the 58th minute of play. After 60 played minutes C. A. BELGRANO got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Restu. Amadeo Amor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Macias's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Danilo Garikoitz's late challenge caught a C. A. BELGRANO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Garikoitz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, VERΛ's Danilo Garikoitz got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute, Sixto Lluis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ricardo Honrio. The goal made the score 2-1. There was no doubt that VERΛ were the better team. VERΛ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
