But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Harri couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Leonides Munio managed to get in a good position for a shot. OPERYS F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Munio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bonifacio Aurre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo Iguazu's Bonifacio Aurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Munio in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo Iguazu getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fausto Txartiko hit a great ball. After 44 minutes, Higinio Medina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Iguazu and the OPERYS F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 51 minutes, Angelino Tomi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With his leg Justino Derwin managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Deportivo Iguazu's Angelino Tomi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 54th minute, Deportivo Iguazu's Clodoveo Harri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Justino Derwin. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Angelino Tomi sped through OPERYS F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Justino Derwin. With a little luck, OPERYS F.C's Justino Derwin got control of the ball when Angelino Tomi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Deportivo Iguazu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OPERYS F.C the free kick. Omar Tonio kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Deportivo Iguazu got a freekick which was hit by Omar Tonio. In the 87th match minute, Deportivo Iguazu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Martxel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Perico in the 88th minute of play forced Deportivo Iguazu's goalkeeper Bonifacio Aurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Tomi's late challenge caught a OPERYS F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Tomi helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Deportivo Iguazu got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Tomi. Bonifacio Aurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Munio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Clodoveo Harri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Derwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The OPERYS F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Iguazu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
