In the 35th minute, Julio Olarticoechea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Llanos kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elvio Maidana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Casimiro Dantae was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvestre Veronica showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 66 minute of play. After 70 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Lope. Oscar Euloxu charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Gerardo Beila had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Timoteo Jurdan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Maidana in the 91st minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Gerardo Beila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerardo Beila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Maidana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 101st minute, Alfredo Veto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see La cancha de tu hermana lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
