In the 8th minute Ryuji Laprise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Montrelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Bareiro in the 9th minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Miguel Chorache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryuji Laprise struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Romulo Montrelle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trinchera FC. In the 15th match minute, Jabones Tocadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Hats to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Trinchera FC's Ryuji Laprise ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romulo Montrelle. Romulo Montrelle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 25th minute, Trinchera FC's Dionisio Berenguer seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dionisio Berenguer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Trinchera FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dionisio Berenguer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 24th minute, one of Trinchera FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trinchera FC. Miguel Chorache had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Abel Sandaili's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Trinchera FC's Roque Pero got a free kick in the 28th minute. Trinchera FC's Miguel Chorache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Bareiro in the 29th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Jacobo Cisco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trinchera FC and the Jabones Tocadores players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Trinchera FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Cisco. When Ubaldo Poncio came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Trinchera FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubaldo Poncio couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Trinchera FC's Ubaldo Poncio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romulo Montrelle. Romulo Montrelle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Miguel Chorache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Bareiro in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Benito Montae ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Chorache was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ryuji Laprise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque Pero might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romulo Montrelle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roque Pero ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute Jacobo Cisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Montrelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Montae, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 56th match minute, Jabones Tocadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Eliazar to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Jacobo Cisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Chorache acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abel Sandaili. Miguel Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Montae, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Miguel Chorache had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Bareiro. A collision led to Jabones Tocadores getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Abel Sandaili hit a great ball. Trinchera FC's Miguel Chorache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Trinchera FC from getting a goal against them.
