Dibag Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Paublo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Rodri De Paul. With a little luck, La Scaloneta's Dibag Martinez got control of the ball when Rodrigo Paublo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albano Cortez during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. La Scaloneta's Dibag Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Paublo in the 17th minute of play. Lion Messi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Thibaut Courtois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Artemio Naike mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Scaloneta and the AC LeX Luthor players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Rodrigo Paublo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ángel-Fabián Di María got free with Thibaut Courtois in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexis Mac Allister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thibaut Courtois having to interfere. With his leg Thibaut Courtois managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when La Scaloneta's Julián Álvarez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 85 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Aurken came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dibag Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Tonio in the 87th minute of the match. AC LeX Luthor succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though La Scaloneta had controlled the match.
