Reynaldo Rameriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Izquierdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, DON RAMON 72's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Perrando came free, but Reynaldo Rameriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Martin Palermo F.C. getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Benicio Izquierdo hit a great ball. DON RAMON 72's Reynaldo Rameriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Izquierdo in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Rod Stewart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DON RAMON 72's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rod Stewart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Sebastián Izquierdo made a precise shot to the right of Reynaldo Rameriz. DON RAMON 72's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rod Stewart made a kick off. Reynaldo Rameriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Izquierdo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Christian Izquierdo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Silvano Harkaitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martín Izquierdo was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Ruperto Porfirio got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute Sebastián Izquierdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Rameriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When DON RAMON 72's Rod Stewart in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Silvano Harkaitz came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the DON RAMON 72 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Harkaitz couldn't finish the play. Prospero Nataniel kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Celso Felipillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Martin Palermo F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
