The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karl Björling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Caponi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 minutes of play, Club Atlético Escocia's Pascual Ado made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Björling was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aquiles Lazcano was shown his second yellow card after 10 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Club Atlético Escocia getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Aquiles Lazcano hit a great ball. Pascual Ado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Björling having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Justino Sengrat dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeronimo Mon, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Caponi in the 21st minute of play forced CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's goalkeeper Karl Björling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Ricart hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ defense, Pascual Ado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Björling. The CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Björling should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Pascual Ado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Karl Björling was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes into the game, Leonel Caponi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Escocia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Club Atlético Escocia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Caponi to maneuver through the defense. Jeronimo Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Montana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl Björling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Oroitz in the 41st minute of the match.

In the 51st match minute, CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don Champagne to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Llorienzo. A collision led to CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bobby Aelgoet hit a great ball. Karl Björling came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Escocia's Clemente Oroitz. But to his dismay, Clemente Oroitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. A collision led to CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Santos Benet hit a great ball. Club Atlético Escocia's Facundo Nahas was substituted for Pascual Ado. Club Atlético Escocia's Ciriaco Satordi was substituted for Narciso Sauveur. In the 69th match minute, CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Benet to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Facundo Nahas got free with Karl Björling in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Quintun during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adrian Quintun kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Leonel Caponi took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Karl Björling to make any attempt to save it. Facundo Nahas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Facundo Nahas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
