The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Gabrio couldn't finish the play. After 37 minutes of play, Branco FC's Fernando Gabrio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Caton was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute Fernando Gabrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Caton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Balendin hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Branco FC made a substitution. Leonides Eriz replaced Domingos Aimar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Tello AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Branco FC:s goal. Mariano Caton had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Octavio Acevedo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 柳平鹏 hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Luken came free, but Mariano Caton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tello AFC the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Branco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Acevedo to maneuver through the defense.
