In the 2nd match minute, NUMBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Fernado to maneuver through the defense. After 5 minutes NUMBA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angelino Urko who took care of the corner kick. 7 minutes into the match, NUMBA's goalkeeper Justo Ruy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Ardiles. When Carmelo Ponce fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El coca fc's protests and gave Carmelo Ponce a yellow card for diving instead. Carmelo Ponce kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, NUMBA's Leonardo Salvino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafino Lopez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, El coca fc's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Quinten came free, but Serafino Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Ruy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldo Ardiles's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 22 minutes into the match, NUMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Aguilera came free, but Justo Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Aguilera in the 22nd minute of play forced NUMBA's goalkeeper Justo Ruy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmelo Ponce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Justo Ruy made a huge save. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Bernardo Quinten sped through El coca fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Serafino Lopez. Osvaldo Ardiles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Justo Ruy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 36thth minute of the game Jacobo Magdaleno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El coca fc's Serafino Lopez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With 38 minutes on the clock, Mario Silvino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 38 played minutes NUMBA got a freekick which was hit by Mario Silvino. In the 40th minute of the match El coca fc got a corner. NUMBA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Angelino Urko ran over to the corner to take the kick. El coca fc's Angelino Urko was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Justo Ruy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, El coca fc's Benjamin Francis got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Bernardo Quinten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Bernardo Quinten made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, NUMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Ponce came free, but Justo Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of El coca fc booed when NUMBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Fernado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justo Ruy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Urko in the 57th minute of the match. Justo Ruy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Ramirez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, NUMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Aguilera came free, but Justo Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacobo Magdaleno during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 70 minutes into the game, one of NUMBA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Justo Ruy had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Bar Simpson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 75th minute, Osvaldo Ardiles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justo Ruy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Ardiles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the NUMBA defense, Carmelo Ponce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justo Ruy. The NUMBA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justo Ruy should have stopped the shot. Justo Ruy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Ardiles in the 86th minute of play. Justo Ruy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. El coca fc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angelino Urko in the 89th minute. A nice corner shot did that Angelino Urko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Justo Ruy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leonardo Salvino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 played minutes, NUMBA's Isaac Fernado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Serafino Lopez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in NUMBA reached it. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the NUMBA players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
