Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alvaro Elia started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Celestiales getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Raul Vargas hit a great ball. New Pi:s Maximo Godoy showed great skill when he stopped Damaso Donzel:s penalty. Maximo Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Elia in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Goito in the 11th minute of play forced Celestiales's goalkeeper Evaristo Ubarna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes New Pi got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Tibalt. Maximo Godoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Elia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Elia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximo Godoy was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When New Pi's Marcelo Goito in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Celestiales's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Alvaro Elia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celestiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Elia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evaristo Ubarna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Goito in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Marcelo Goito made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Alvaro Elia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Elia kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. New Pi's Set Fernando was substituted for Generoso Artizar. In the 62nd match minute, Celestiales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Elia to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd match minute, New Pi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Frisco to maneuver through the defense. Celestiales's Máximo Fernández quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabio Frisco, made in the 67th minute of the game. New Pi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Alvaro Elia scored to the left of an out of position Maximo Godoy, making the score, 0-1. After 72 played minutes New Pi got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Tibalt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Elia in the 81st minute of play forced New Pi's goalkeeper Maximo Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Máximo Fernández charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Máximo Fernández the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of New Pi booed when Celestiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Máximo Fernández didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute New Pi were awarded a corner. Szczepan Mitus went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Marcelo Goito heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Celestiales walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
