In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orozcos's goalkeeper Sergio Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th match minute, Real Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Luican to maneuver through the defense. Real Racing Club's Ruperto Viviano was substituted for Marin Luican. In the 10th minute, Marin Luican hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Ferrer struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Gao Fei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orozcos. A collision led to Real Racing Club getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Cesar Cordairo hit a great ball. Feliciano Havier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gao Fei. Real Racing Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 21 played minutes Orozcos got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Ferrer. Sergio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Su Yuan Yu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute of the match Real Racing Club got a corner. Orozcos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alejo Salvino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Real Racing Club's Su Yuan Yu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Sebastián Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastián Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruperto Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Su Yuan Yu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Licerio in the 37th minute of play forced Orozcos's goalkeeper Sergio Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Real Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Harri Kane came free, but Gao Fei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Cesar Cordairo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Racing Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orozcos the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Real Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Cordairo to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes, Orozcos's Feliciano Havier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gao Fei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Orozcos reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruperto Viviano to make the kick off. If Ruperto Viviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Su Yuan Yu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvio Amato's late challenge caught a Orozcos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Amato helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Silvio Amato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gao Fei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Havier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Ruperto Licerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Romero came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Racing Club's Su Yuan Yu. But to his dismay, Su Yuan Yu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Ferrer got free with Gao Fei in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 94 minutes, Ruperto Viviano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Viviano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Real Racing Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Orozcos for a fine match.
