Alejandro Gervaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Vachon in the 25th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benedicto Iago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Apolo Lizbeth reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benedicto Iago. The goal made the score 1-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinicio Walme was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Alejandro Gervaso managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Salvador Benitez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The nice shot from Leo Ledesma in the 58thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Alejandro Gervaso had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Adan Balesio's late challenge caught a Defensores de Mar de Ajó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
