Flavio Ipar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nestor Kelemen. Espirillo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 20th minute, Joel Erramu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Espirillo FC's Svetlozar Vúlov shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cornelio Asteri but with some difficulty. Hector Terciero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nestor Kelemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Kelemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Elodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th match minute, Guansa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Eusko to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Asteri made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Daniel Natanael sent off a good shot on target. David Corderun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelio Asteri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Corderun in the 82nd minute of the match. If Daniel Natanael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute, Freddy Elequemedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Ipar struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Nestor Kelemen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guansa. Celedonio Hernando charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celedonio Hernando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Guansa booed when Espirillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Hernando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Kelemen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guansa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Espirillo FC.
