Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jeremias Regis got the match started through his kick off. Jeremias Regis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Ixona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Luis Swain made a huge save. Luis Swain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Astudillo in the 7th minute. When Geordi Berthelette fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Dep. Union Madereros's protests and gave Geordi Berthelette a yellow card for diving instead. Geordi Berthelette hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Luis Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes Club Dep. Union Madereros got a freekick which was hit by Rene Vito. 26 minutes into the game, Guaberto Gudesteo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Geordi Berthelette quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gilberto Astudillo took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Swain. Luis Swain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Club Dep. Union Madereros made a substitution. Jaime Laurgain replaced Cornelio Colas. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Laurgain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ovidio Karmel kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Gilberto Astudillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Swain was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 61 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Vito came free, but Roberto Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Jusepe kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Wen Yuan Zhen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Abad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roberto Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Laurgain, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Gilberto Astudillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leon Platense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Jaime Laurgain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Roberto Abad made a huge save. In the 71st minute Gilberto Astudillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Swain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Platense's Roberto Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Laurgain in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Leon Platense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wen Yuan Zhen was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Dep. Union Madereros's players had a chance to rest. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Roberto Abad successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 84 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Union Madereros's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Ixona came free, but Luis Swain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Dep. Union Madereros's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabian Ixidor was slow to take the kick. During this time Leon Platense's players had a chance to rest. Benito Ixona made a great header on Leon Platense's corner, it was just that Club Dep. Union Madereros's Luis Swain managed to reach the ball for a save. After 96 played minutes Club Dep. Union Madereros got a freekick which was hit by Rene Vito. Leon Platense were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Dep. Union Madereros for a fine match.
