Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) After a rather tough play, LTA FC's Luis Petri got a free kick in the 5th minute. Club Dep. Union Madereros's attack was well implemented in the 6th minute, but when Cornelio Colas was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 1-0 became the score in the 9th minute when Cornelio Colas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Murilo Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the game, LTA FC's Ivan Bernad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Swain made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Luis Swain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Erico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes Club Dep. Union Madereros got a freekick which was hit by Rene Vito. LTA FC's Ivan Bernad got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Erico in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Palermo in the 28th minute of play forced Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Luis Swain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, LTA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Palermo to maneuver through the defense. Arsenio Maiorga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Colas, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Leo Argina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Dep. Union Madereros's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Argina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Maiorga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rene Vito hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Martin Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Swain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsenio Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Colas in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornelio Colas in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arsenio Maiorga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luis Swain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Bernad in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Club Dep. Union Madereros's Fabio Dimo was substituted for Cornelio Colas. The wind increased when Fabio Dimo made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the LTA FC defense, Fabio Dimo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arsenio Maiorga. The LTA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arsenio Maiorga should have stopped the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Luis Swain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Bernad. After a defensive mix-up in LTA FC's zone, Fabio Dimo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsenio Maiorga came out of the goal and Fabio Dimo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of LTA FC booed when Club Dep. Union Madereros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Lekubegi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Fabio Dimo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LTA FC's Arsenio Maiorga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luis Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Palermo in the 68th minute of the match. Arsenio Maiorga came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Dep. Union Madereros's Fabio Dimo. But to his dismay, Fabio Dimo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. LTA FC made a substitution. Virgilio Oton replaced Ivan Bernad. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Karmel in the 75th minute of play forced LTA FC's goalkeeper Arsenio Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marciano Gumaro hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Luis Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Palermo in the 85th minute of the match. After 87 played minutes LTA FC got a freekick which was hit by Federico Tevez. Lorenzo Bakar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arsenio Maiorga. LTA FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to LTA FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Alfie Basile hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, LTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Karmel came free, but Arsenio Maiorga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Dep. Union Madereros's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lorenzo Bakar in the 95th minute. The corner led Club Dep. Union Madereros's Fabio Dimo to fire away a dangerous shot which Arsenio Maiorga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 96th minute, Domingo Resto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Dep. Union Madereros fully deserved thier win.
