Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelino Froylan started the match with the kick off. 12 minutes into the game, Marcelino Froylan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Roberto Abad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilberto Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dario Tomi charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Tomi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 17 minutes into the game, one of Rebelution:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 35 played minutes Leon Platense got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Jusepe. Desiderio Chorache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Ixona in the 38th minute of the match. Desiderio Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute José Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Marcelino Froylan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Leon Platense's Danilo Jusepe got a free kick in the 46th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Froylan got free with Roberto Abad in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremias Regis to make the kick off. Gilberto Astudillo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Leon Platense's zone, José Ponce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Abad came out of the goal and José Ponce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roberto Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Ponce in the 58th minute of play. After 60 minutes Leon Platense's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zacarias Natanael who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Zacarias Natanael got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roberto Abad quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 61 minutes into the game, Honorato Feo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Roberto Abad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilberto Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Chorache having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rebelution's Zacarias Natanael got a free kick in the 68th minute. Gilberto Astudillo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 78th match minute, Rebelution was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Janpier to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Marcelino Froylan made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Abad. Leon Platense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 97th minute José Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
