Ermegildo Matxin made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Francisco Balendin sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute, Placido Neron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BAC Belgrano de Cba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rivermania FC's Alejandro Truylos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Peru in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauricio Sergi during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rivermania FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mauricio Sergi hit a great ball. Alejandro Truylos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Librado, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Braulio Peru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rivermania FC's Alejandro Truylos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee gave Francisco Balendin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Librado was the one to do the kick off.
