Benjamin Price stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Oihan's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Marcos Mederi charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Mederi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Marcos Mederi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Characate FC's Benjamin Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Naldo in the 9th minute of play. Benjamin Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Uzuri in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Benito Naldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Madison fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience was convinced that Benito Naldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Price was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Madison defense, Loco Palermo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severiano Rafe. The Madison fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severiano Rafe should have stopped the shot. Hernan Uzuri kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Faustino Avellaneda struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Benjamin Price didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madison. If Faustino Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Oihan came free, but Benjamin Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Uzuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Benito Naldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madison's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Naldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Price breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st match minute, Madison was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Vedillo to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Rafe was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Guido Caradaro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benito Naldo in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Price prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benjamin Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Avellaneda in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Mederi was the one to do the kick off. Benjamin Price came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Madison's Hernan Uzuri. But to his dismay, Hernan Uzuri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 59th minute, Ernesto Txanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th match minute, Madison was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Vedillo to maneuver through the defense. Madison's Aristides Lorencio was substituted for Faustino Avellaneda. Madison made a substitution. Silvano Polentzi replaced Julian Oihan. Hernan Uzuri struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Madison's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
