Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Errecaborda AFC's Jonatan Ursino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlitos Tevez. In the 8th minute, Marcos Mederi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Belo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ignacio Mikelar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Benjamin Price made a huge save. Marcos Mederi might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Belo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Mederi ran back to his position shaking his head. Enrique Belo came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Characate FC's Marcos Mederi. But to his dismay, Marcos Mederi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 30th minute Marcos Mederi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Belo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Mederi in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Belo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Characate FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Errecaborda AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guido Caradaro took the corner. The corner led Characate FC's Marcos Mederi to fire away a dangerous shot which Enrique Belo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Enrique Belo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Mederi, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 43 minutes of play, Characate FC's Marcos Mederi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Belo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Characate FC's Benjamin Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Iigo in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Mederi to make the kick off. With a little luck, Errecaborda AFC's Enrique Belo got control of the ball when Marcos Mederi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Characate FC's John Valeny got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute, Cristian Unai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Characate FC got a corner. Errecaborda AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guido Caradaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. 70 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mikelar came free, but Benjamin Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Ursino in the 73rd minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlitos Tevez. Benjamin Price didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teo Iigo went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Ignacio Mikelar charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ignacio Mikelar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Errecaborda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Mikelar. A hard shot by Javier Pastore from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Enrique Belo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Characate FC's Benjamin Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Ursino in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Loco Palermo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Characate FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Errecaborda AFC the free kick. Loco Palermo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The Characate FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
