After having played for 7 minutes, Matias Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Masters United F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Quintun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Bizi hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Delmar Mel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Quinto in the 13th minute. 19 minutes in the game, Martin Asier fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Delmar Mel having to interfere. Amador Jakue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Ranolfo in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicanor Florinio in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmar Mel saved Masters United F.C. from getting behind. Wilfredo Quinto succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Martin Asier hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Calvino. With a little luck, Masters United F.C.'s Delmar Mel got control of the ball when Wilfredo Quinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Masters United F.C. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Raimundo Orlo hit a great ball. Matias Quintun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Jakue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Guillem, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Raimundo Orlo took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amador Jakue. Amador Jakue dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 77th minute, Raimundo Orlo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amador Jakue. The goal made the score 1-3. Masters United F.C.'s Delmar Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Florinio in the 88th minute of play. When Ignacio Cayo fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leones FC's protests and gave Ignacio Cayo a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Cayo. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Masters United F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
