The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Tomás Calixto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Txartiko in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Tonio in the 57th minute of play forced alvarado's goalkeeper Ciro Ostadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to alvarado getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Justino Gonza hit a great ball. The supporters of Road To Glory booed when alvarado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Gonza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Road To Glory's Leonardo Gaspard broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Bordat during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
