Zacarias Gergori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Abancens in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Silvestre Ekialde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Gergori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Candela FC's Silvestre Ekialde got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Terciero in the 12th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Benigno Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Andino Sport Club's Ivan Alonso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benigno Guillem. Benigno Guillem yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Andino Sport Club's Zacarias Gergori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Abancens in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amancio Abancens was the one to do the kick off. Benigno Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Alonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andino Sport Club's Donato Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Andino Sport Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Candela FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
