An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Milito in the 5th minute of play forced Teodelina FC's goalkeeper Rosendo Martxelin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Diegotxe charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Diegotxe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Diamante U18's Lucio Diegotxe got a free kick in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Diamante U18's zone, Marnix Harmannus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Fagildo came out of the goal and Marnix Harmannus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gregorio Fagildo came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Teodelina FC's Nicolás De la Cruz. But to his dismay, Nicolás De la Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 26thth minute of the game Marnix Harmannus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Diamante U18's Gregorio Fagildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute Marnix Harmannus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregorio Fagildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marnix Harmannus, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 42 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Diamante U18:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Deportivo Diamante U18:s Gregorio Fagildo showed great skill when he stopped Marnix Harmannus:s penalty. In the 46th minute of the match Teodelina FC got a corner. Deportivo Diamante U18's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marnix Harmannus ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Nicolás De la Cruz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Diego Milito made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Marnix Harmannus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gregorio Fagildo. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 59th minute, Teodelina FC's Marnix Harmannus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gregorio Fagildo. Gregorio Fagildo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Romeo Chepe put in a rough tackle. Teodelina FC's Rene Houseman was substituted for Mariusz Zuraw. Teodelina FC's Damaso Chorache was substituted for Anastasio Perutxo. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Diamante U18! The goalkeeper, Gregorio Fagildo, was totally fooled by Teodelina FC's Braulio Osoro, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Laureano Mitxaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Rosendo Martxelin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Diamante U18's zone, Jonathan Calixto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Fagildo came out of the goal and Jonathan Calixto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Conrado Maiorga notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Teodelina FC's Rosendo Martxelin. Rosendo Martxelin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 80 minutes into the match, Deportivo Diamante U18's goalkeeper Gregorio Fagildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Calixto. Nicolás De la Cruz hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Jonathan Calixto might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorio Fagildo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Calixto ran back to his position shaking his head. Gregorio Fagildo made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Jonathan Calixto sent off a good shot on target. Gregorio Fagildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolás De la Cruz in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Calixto got free with Gregorio Fagildo in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Calixto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Diamante U18's Froilan Montel got a free kick in the 90th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Victor Valiente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Diamante U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Valiente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 minutes, Jonathan Calixto made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Diamante U18's Gregorio Fagildo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Deportivo Diamante U18 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Teodelina FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Teodelina FC.
