After some careless play in the Club Atletico Los Andes defense, Antonio Berbiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nana Lider. The Club Atletico Los Andes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nana Lider should have stopped the shot. Las Palmas's Efrain Veremundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Las Palmas from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Gaxan got free with Efrain Veremundo in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Antonio Berbiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Las Palmas's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Berbiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nana Lider breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute Las Palmas were awarded a corner. Ceferino Joey went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Las Palmas's corner Ceferino Joey fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nana Lider quite easily take care of the ball. Club Atletico Los Andes's Gerardo Gaxan got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Gaxan kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by 潘远迅. Nana Lider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Berbiz in the 30th minute of play. Las Palmas's Efrain Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 潘远迅 in the 33rd minute of play. Las Palmas's Natalio Gomez got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nana Lider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Berbiz in the 42nd minute of play. Efrain Veremundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Gaxan in the 45th minute. 潘远迅 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Efrain Veremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Berbiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Club Atletico Los Andes's Nana Lider proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Los Andes from getting a goal against them. Álvaro Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Las Palmas's Gaspar Flores got a free kick in the 57th minute. Albino Cordarryl hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Gaspar Flores got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Gaxan came free, but Efrain Veremundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Las Palmas's Damaso Sotil dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Club Atletico Los Andes's Silvio Jerano was substituted for Anselmo Milio. Nana Lider made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Berbiz in the 78th minute. Club Atletico Los Andes's Leonardo Soter was substituted for 徐文枫. 潘远迅 took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Efrain Veremundo. Efrain Veremundo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atletico Los Andes reached it. 91 minutes into the match, Leonardo Soter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Efrain Veremundo. Las Palmas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Soter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
