After 4 played minutes Riquelme Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Cefero. In the 5th minute, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atila Edu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 9th play minute Gustavo-Hernán Egoi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Atila Edu. 2-0. When Pedro Ochoa, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 13 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Atila Edu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Kepa Arrizabalaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Meder in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Pedro Ochoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Atila Edu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Paulo Cefero in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Wilfredo Bieito. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atila Edu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo-Hernán Egoi got free with Atila Edu in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atila Edu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atila Edu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Atila Edu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Salvi in the 35th minute of play forced Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Riquelme Fútbol Club were awarded a corner. Paulo Cefero went to the cornerflag to take it. Paulo Cefero made a great header on Riquelme Fútbol Club's corner, it was just that Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Kepa Arrizabalaga managed to reach the ball for a save. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo-Hernán Egoi got free with Atila Edu in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rauno Rank hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Kepa Arrizabalaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Wiberg in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Riquelme Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Cefero to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atila Edu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Pedro Ochoa sped through Riquelme Fútbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Atila Edu. After some careless play in the Riquelme Fútbol Club defense, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atila Edu. The Riquelme Fútbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atila Edu should have stopped the shot. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Atila Edu came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi. But to his dismay, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka made a substitution. Leon Trotskiy replaced Iker Eneko. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atila Edu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th match minute, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ke Xun to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute Gustavo-Hernán Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atila Edu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes Riquelme Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Cefero. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atila Edu having to make a save. In the 88th minute Gustavo-Hernán Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atila Edu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90thth minute of the game Gustavo-Hernán Egoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riquelme Fútbol Club's Atila Edu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cosme Mendebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atila Edu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Ochoa's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Riquelme Fútbol Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
