The referee ignored El Bobo y El Bocho's protests and gave Pedro Brun a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Guanacos booed when El Bobo y El Bocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Librado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Leizarraga was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Guanacos's Celso Frutos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Guanacos from getting a goal against them. Amado Vedillo took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dario Leizarraga. Dario Leizarraga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. There was no doubt that Guanacos were the better team. Guanacos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
