A collision led to Guanacos getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Melquiades Librado hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes Perrucho FC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Cristos. 20 minutes into the match, Matias Abreu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celso Frutos, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Enrique Quexal put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Celso Frutos. After 26 played minutes Guanacos got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Mingo. Dario Ermano made in the 28th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Victorino Rio immediately put the ball in play. Christian Ixidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Gonza in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Orlando Gonza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Ixidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Enrique Quexal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Perrucho FC booed when Guanacos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Ermano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Orlando Gonza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Ixidor. Perrucho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Gonza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a little luck, Perrucho FC's Christian Ixidor got control of the ball when Melquiades Librado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honorato Federigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Ixidor having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the match Guanacos got a corner. Perrucho FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victorino Rio ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Guanacos's corner Victorino Rio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christian Ixidor quite easily take care of the ball. In the 85th minute, Prospero Guzman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Natal scored 2-5 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Ixidor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute Honorato Federigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Ixidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guanacos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victorino Rio in the 97th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Perrucho FC's goalie and right to Mauro Peruxu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Perrucho FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When the match was over Guanacos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Perrucho FC throughout the match.
