With an all-out effort, U21 Totoras F.C.'s Cirilo Peyo threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alo Hurt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Totoras F.C.'s zone, Laureano Olayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Ugutz came out of the goal and Laureano Olayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cirilo Peyo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfréd Marton in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute Alo Hurt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Depor Alex Return's Juan Remicio got a free kick in the 47th minute. Cirilo Peyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alo Hurt in the 48th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alo Hurt to make the kick off. The referee ignored U21 Totoras F.C.'s protests and gave Benito Pacorro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, U21 Totoras F.C.'s Benito Pacorro got a free kick in the 81st minute. Maxi Fernandez charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
