The crowd rose to their feet as Alvaro Micarelli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Modesto Theodore. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Paunero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Geofredo to maneuver through the defense. Raul Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Farias in the 8th minute of the match. Raul Isias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Iago, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Alejandro Farias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paunero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Alejandro Farias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Isias. PINGO PINGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejandro Farias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. PINGO PINGO's Raul Isias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Iago in the 19th minute of play. Lisandro Gutierrez charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lisandro Gutierrez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, PINGO PINGO's Lisandro Gutierrez got a free kick in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the match, PINGO PINGO's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Farias came free, but Raul Isias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, PINGO PINGO's Alvaro Micarelli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Modesto Theodore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute, PINGO PINGO's Alvaro Micarelli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Modesto Theodore. Modesto Theodore yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Alejandro Farias took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raul Isias. Raul Isias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Emilio Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Alvaro Micarelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PINGO PINGO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Micarelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raul Isias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Farias in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Micarelli got free with Modesto Theodore in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Paunero getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Leopoldo Liberto hit a great ball. Raul Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Iago in the 44th minute of the match. Raul Isias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejandro Farias went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Micarelli was the one to do the kick off. Modesto Theodore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Micarelli's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 54th match minute, PINGO PINGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Mascherano to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Micarelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PINGO PINGO's Raul Isias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Farias in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Paunero's Emilio Eleazar got a free kick in the 60th minute. PINGO PINGO's attentive Federico Frankenhaeuser managed to snatch the ball when Guillermo Geofredo made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Paunero's Nicolas Tancredo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 71 minutes in the game, fortunately Raul Isias had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Paunero's Nicolas Tancredo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 71st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Modesto Theodore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Micarelli in the 81st minute of play. Benigno Iago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Raul Isias made a huge save. The supporters of Paunero booed when PINGO PINGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Galo didn't get a good kick on the ball. PINGO PINGO's Raul Isias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Farias in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, PINGO PINGO's Javier Mascherano got a free kick in the 94th minute. Everardo Dodorol might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Isias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Everardo Dodorol ran back to his position shaking his head. Everardo Dodorol's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Raul Isias firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the final whistle sounded Paunero left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PINGO PINGO.
