Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Mechanicville's Winston Matthews started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Winston Matthews took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlando Leoiar. Orlando Leoiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With 11 minutes on the clock, Donny Ladner commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Amadeo Iratze managed to get in a good position for a shot. Equipo's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Iratze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mitch Samuels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Librado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 17 minutes, Clark Hess mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mechanicville and the Equipo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clark Hess hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Fulgencio Matxin's late challenge caught a Mechanicville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Matxin helped the player get up and apologised. Fulgencio Matxin hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Mitch Samuels made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Omar Librado sent off a good shot on target. Mechanicville's Mitch Samuels proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Mechanicville from getting a goal against them. Mitch Samuels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Equipo were awarded a corner. Amadeo Iratze went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Honorio Arnas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Omar Librado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Mitch Samuels made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Librado to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Mechanicville's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Librado came free, but Mitch Samuels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kelly Walsh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Librado in the 59th minute of play forced Mechanicville's goalkeeper Mitch Samuels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clark Hess kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 61 minutes of play, Equipo's Melchor Igon made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mitch Samuels was left in no man's land by his defense there! Honorio Arnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitch Samuels having to interfere. Mitch Samuels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Matxin in the 67th minute of play. Mechanicville's Mitch Samuels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Librado in the 73rd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Omar Librado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mitch Samuels was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After 86 played minutes Equipo got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Matxin. Mitch Samuels came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Equipo's Melchor Igon. But to his dismay, Melchor Igon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Equipo fully deserved thier win.
