In the 24th minute, Christian Weets made a precise shot to the right of Poulus Farias. RKO AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Kenton Mercure hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Topsail reached it. Michal Currie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Poulus Farias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Topsail was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenton Mercure to maneuver through the defense. Brady Labelle hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The RKO AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Topsail were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kenton Mercure was the one to do the kick off. Topsail's Renaud Lilly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Pellegri in the 53rd minute of play. Ulises Fanjul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaud Lilly having to interfere. Poulus Farias was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kenton Mercure showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 58 minute of play. When Max Milligan came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Topsail fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Milligan couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Christian Weets's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Poulus Farias was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game.
