After a rather tough play, Monitor Huáscar's Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal got a free kick in the 30th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Pål Uggstedt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Johans Ortubia. That made the score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. CANTERANOS DMS's Leonides Ocariz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pagomari Portilla in the 35th minute of play. Johans Ortubia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pål Uggstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonides Ocariz skillfully saved the ball. In the 44th minute, Pagomari Portilla made a precise shot to the right of Leonides Ocariz. CANTERANOS DMS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oxel Viñales to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Izotz in the 57th minute of play forced Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Johans Ortubia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Pål Uggstedt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CANTERANOS DMS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Turi Larrategui replaced Steven Fortis. When Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monitor Huáscar's protests and gave Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Monitor Huáscar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, CANTERANOS DMS's Rafael Quizan got a free kick in the 74th minute. Leonides Ocariz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oxel Viñales in the 75th minute of play. Monitor Huáscar's Johans Ortubia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Quizan in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pål Uggstedt in the 84th minute of play forced Monitor Huáscar's goalkeeper Johans Ortubia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monitor Huáscar's Mauro Risel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leonides Ocariz but with some difficulty. CANTERANOS DMS's Pål Uggstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johans Ortubia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Uggstedt in the 95th minute of the match.
