In the 6th match minute, Garfield Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Belo to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the game, Rainerio Pas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garfield Dream Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monitor Huáscar the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cordero Casuso in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilio Oterino saved Garfield Dream Team from getting behind. When Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monitor Huáscar's protests and gave Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Cordero Casuso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Oterino was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oxel Viñales in the 25th minute of play forced Garfield Dream Team's goalkeeper Emilio Oterino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Oterino was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Emilio Oterino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Garfield Dream Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Monitor Huáscar were winning 0-3.

Garfield Dream Team's Emilio Oterino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Garfield Dream Team from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cordero Casuso in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilio Oterino saved Garfield Dream Team from getting behind. A hard shot 58 in the game by Cordero Casuso from a close distance when the talented Emilio Oterino managed to make a qualified save. Garfield Dream Team's players were relieved. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emilio Oterino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Emilio Oterino skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Emilio Oterino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 97 minutes into the match, Garfield Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Cordero Casuso came free, but Emilio Oterino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monitor Huáscar played a much better game than Garfield Dream Team and deserved their victory. The Garfield Dream Team players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
