Dantel Villatoros short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Agustin Pagomari to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Laurgain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kerem Ceyhan was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Carqueja's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leopoldo Laurgain ran over to the corner to take the kick. Agustin Pagomari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mogel Izcaray in the 26th minute of play. Carqueja's Dantel Villatoro got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Alejo Perez got a free kick in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by James Lucena during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Carqueja got a freekick which was hit by James Lucena. Su Iruegas kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopoldo Laurgain was the one to do the kick off. Fausto Fonso hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Carqueja's Mogel Izcaray nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agustin Pagomari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Agustin Pagomari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Benavidez, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Agustin Pagomari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dantel Villatoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s zone, Leopoldo Benavidez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Pagomari came out of the goal and Leopoldo Benavidez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mogel Izcaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejo Perez hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Benavidez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agustin Pagomari was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The supporters of Carqueja booed when Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Montrelle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carqueja's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
