Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leopoldo Laurgain started the match with the kick off. Francisco Cruz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Agustin Pagomari came out and tried to block the shot, but Francisco Cruz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Alejo Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jude Cruz got free with Agustin Pagomari in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Cruz struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Agustin Pagomari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CRUZ DEL SUR. Agustin Pagomari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paco Cabedo in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jude Cruz got free with Agustin Pagomari in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jude Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Agustin Pagomari made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Jude Cruz put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Agustin Pagomari. Agustin Pagomari made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Jude Cruz sent off a good shot on target. Agustin Pagomari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paco Cabedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd match minute, CRUZ DEL SUR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paco Cabedo to maneuver through the defense. Agustin Pagomari was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Jude Cruz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jude Cruz really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 28th minute, Paco Cabedo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Agustin Pagomari, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to CRUZ DEL SUR getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jose Manuel Guilisasti hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopoldo Laurgain in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Pedro Owen saved CRUZ DEL SUR from getting behind. Fausto Fonso hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When Paco Cabedo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the CRUZ DEL SUR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paco Cabedo couldn't finish the play. After 37 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Lobo. Jude Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agustin Pagomari came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by CRUZ DEL SUR's Juan María Maeztu. But to his dismay, Juan María Maeztu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Jude Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Pagomari having to interfere. The CRUZ DEL SUR fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when CRUZ DEL SUR's Francisco Cruz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paco Cabedo made a kick off. Juan María Maeztu took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustin Pagomari. Agustin Pagomari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. CRUZ DEL SUR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paco Cabedo in the 60th minute. The corner ended in Paco Cabedo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Agustin Pagomari did a great save. CRUZ DEL SUR's Maurín Angulo was substituted for Jude Cruz. After 70 minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paco Cabedo who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Juan María Maeztu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agustin Pagomari was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. The CRUZ DEL SUR fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when CRUZ DEL SUR's Juan María Maeztu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Agustin Pagomari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan María Maeztu in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match CRUZ DEL SUR got a corner. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paco Cabedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Juan María Maeztu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Juan María Maeztu managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRUZ DEL SUR's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan María Maeztu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Pagomari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
