Juvenal Matos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Elequemedo Abeijon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juvenal Matos was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Juvenal Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elequemedo Abeijon in the 15th minute of play. Gonz FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tohias Abeita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, Gonz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tohias Abeita came free, but Juvenal Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Casimiro Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th match minute, Gonz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Bela to maneuver through the defense. Juvenal Matos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tohias Abeita went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After 47 minutes of play, El Pulpo Paceño's Elequemedo Abeijon made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juvenal Matos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Dubardo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, El Pulpo Paceño's Astor Abenda got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Elequemedo Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Pulpo Paceño's supporters rose to their feet, but Elequemedo Abeijon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esiquio Abecia made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Elequemedo Abeijon immediately put the ball in play. Juvenal Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tohias Abeita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elequemedo Abeijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Juvenal Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elequemedo Abeijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Matos having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tohias Abeita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juvenal Matos was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 79th match minute, El Pulpo Paceño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cilio Abeijon to maneuver through the defense. When Estevez Abajas fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Pulpo Paceño's protests and gave Estevez Abajas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, El Pulpo Paceño's Estevez Abajas got a free kick in the 81st minute. 91 minutes into the match, Elequemedo Abeijon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juvenal Matos. Gonz FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elequemedo Abeijon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as El Pulpo Paceño's Elequemedo Abeijon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juvenal Matos. That made the score 0-8 after 96 minutes of play. When the match was over El Pulpo Paceño could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gonz FC throughout the match.
