Tony Joyce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Hernandez in the 6th minute of the match. Tony Joyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Rosio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Pedro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Deportivo Rodriguez getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Eliseo Cavazos hit a great ball. Tony Joyce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Hernandez's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Deportivo Rodriguez's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Hernandez came free, but Tony Joyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Hernandez in the 23rd minute of play forced Deportivo Rodriguez's goalkeeper Tony Joyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Eliseo Cavazos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tyrell Cochran charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tyrell Cochran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Luís Hernandez came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Atletas Campesinos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Hernandez couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Luís Hernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Hernandez in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Joyce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deportivo Rodriguez's Tony Joyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Hernandez in the 42nd minute of play. Tony Joyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Hernandez in the 46th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Ciro Ostadar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tony Joyce quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Deportivo Rodriguez players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atletas Campesinos F.C. were winning 0-1.

Luís Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Joyce having to interfere. The Atletas Campesinos F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Luís Hernandez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tony Joyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Luís Hernandez came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Atletas Campesinos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Hernandez couldn't finish the play. Waldo Hills made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marcelo Marcello immediately put the ball in play. 66 minutes into the match, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jason Douglas came free, but Paulo Rosio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Luís Hernandez made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Joyce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tony Joyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Galindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luís Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Hernandez in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Joyce saved Deportivo Rodriguez from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldo Hills during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Waldo Hills hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Luís Hernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tony Joyce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Luís Hernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tony Joyce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Rosio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Douglas, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Luís Hernandez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Joyce was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Luís Hernandez struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Tony Joyce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletas Campesinos F.C..
