Erik Cabrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the match, Andreas Olsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Cabrera. Waialua's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andreas Olsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Lauras Čiras put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Erik Cabrera. Erik Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Olsson in the 24th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Andreas Olsson sped through Waialua's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erik Cabrera. Erik Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 김 빙 in the 28th minute of the match. Centinela Español FC's Guido Soto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Centinela Español FC from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute 김 빙 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Cabrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Cabrera came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Centinela Español FC's Andreas Olsson. In the 45th match minute, Centinela Español FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurilio Granic to maneuver through the defense. If Bruce Singer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After 53 minutes, Rocky Shirley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Waialua and the Centinela Español FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Waialua getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Rocky Shirley hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Centinela Español FC's Andreas Olsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Erik Cabrera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andreas Olsson's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-7 when 김 빙 sped through Waialua's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erik Cabrera. Rich Lawson took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guido Soto. Guido Soto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. 김 빙's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erik Cabrera firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 1-9 when 김 빙 sped through Waialua's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erik Cabrera. After a rather tough play, Waialua's Rocky Shirley got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Erik Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Olsson in the 85th minute of play. In the 91st minute Andreas Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Cabrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 김 빙s short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Erik Cabrera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Andreas Olsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erik Cabrera. That made the score 1-12 in the 97 minute of play. When the match was over Centinela Español FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Waialua throughout the match.
