Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ulises Ramone kicked off to start the match. Arturo Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Ramon George came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Liga de Quito's Eduardo Mascareñas. But to his dismay, Eduardo Mascareñas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tomas Pando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Cristos, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Liga de Quito's Tomas Pando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Mogel in the 19th minute of play. Ulises Ramone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tomas Pando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Pando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Ramone's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Urbano Pacio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Tomas Pando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Ramone in the 25th minute of the match. Liga de Quito's Urbano Pacio got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to ORIZABA F.C. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Melchor Gartzi hit a great ball. When ORIZABA F.C.'s Ulises Ramone in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liga de Quito's goalie prevented a goal. Arturo Serafo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Tomas Pando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of ORIZABA F.C. booed when Liga de Quito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeruko Freije didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulises Ramone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Tomas Pando made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, Liga de Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Ramone came free, but Tomas Pando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Eduardo Mascareñas made the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Ulises Ramone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liga de Quito's Tomas Pando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Pando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Cristos in the 55th minute of play. Tomas Pando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Ramone, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 57 minutes, Ulises Ramone made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Liga de Quito's Tomas Pando tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Mogel in the 63rd minute of play forced Liga de Quito's goalkeeper Tomas Pando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ulises Ramone came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the ORIZABA F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Ramone couldn't finish the play. Tomas Pando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Ramone in the 74th minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, Liga de Quito's Eduardo Mascareñas made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon George was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute ORIZABA F.C. were awarded a corner. Albano Rodriguez went to the cornerflag to take it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
