Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iván Sotomayor got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Iván Sotomayor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liga de Quito's Tomas Pando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xamo Viladrosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urrutia Tacon in the 5th minute. Mikeldi Barzana kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Eduardo Mascareñas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Xamo Viladrosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 17 played minutes Balkes FC got a freekick which was hit by Calle Lindström. The audience was convinced that Iván Sotomayor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Pando was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Balkes FC were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Liga de Quito's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Calle Lindström took the corner. The corner led Balkes FC's Calle Lindström to fire away a dangerous shot which Tomas Pando despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 25 played minutes Liga de Quito got a freekick which was hit by Urrutia Tacon. In the 30th minute Olivar Regulez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Pando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, Balkes FC's Iván Sotomayor made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Pando was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute, Iván Sotomayor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Pando was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 44 minutes into the game, Iván Sotomayor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Tomas Pando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduardo Mascareñas to make the kick off. Balkes FC's Mikeldi Barzana managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Yoelvis Villarias in the 56 minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernado Mendivil during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Balkes FC's Fernado Mendivil got a free kick in the 58th minute. A collision led to Balkes FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Zacarias Sambrano hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Mascareñas during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Iván Sotomayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80thth minute of the game Iván Sotomayor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liga de Quito's Tomas Pando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Balkes FC's Calle Lindström quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Yoelvis Villarias, made in the 85th minute of the game. Iván Sotomayor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iván Sotomayor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Tomas Pando when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Liga de Quito supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Balkes FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Balkes FC.
