Gilles Russell started the match with the kick off. When Calle Lindström fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balkes FC's protests and gave Calle Lindström a yellow card for diving instead. Calle Lindström hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. When Calle Lindström was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 6 minutes had been played. The supporters of Fly T.T booed when Balkes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calle Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xamo Viladrosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Zacarias Sambrano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathieu Roland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Xamo Viladrosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fly T.T's Paris Hawley pulled a muscle in his back after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Iván Sotomayor charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iván Sotomayor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Iván Sotomayor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Balkes FC's Iván Sotomayor quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kirk Parks, made in the 19th minute of the game. The throw-in from Arnaud Lachapelle in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Balkes FC's Iván Sotomayor. After 24 played minutes Fly T.T got a freekick which was hit by Arnaud Lachapelle. In the 27th minute, Fly T.T's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fernado Mendivil fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilles Russell in the 28th minute of play forced Balkes FC's goalkeeper Xamo Viladrosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fly T.T fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Xamo Viladrosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathieu Roland, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Geraldo Toledo made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathieu Roland in the 54th minute of play forced Balkes FC's goalkeeper Xamo Viladrosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Fly T.T booed when Balkes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olivar Regulez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Balkes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mathieu Roland came free, but Xamo Viladrosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Balkes FC's Xamo Viladrosa got control of the ball when Gilles Russell tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Fly T.T's Xamo Viladrosa threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mathieu Roland, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Léonard Keys kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Fly T.T got a freekick which was hit by Edwardo Baca. Balkes FC's Iván Sotomayor managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arnaud Lachapelle in the 96 minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Balkes FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fly T.T had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
