Steve Hogan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Marrodan having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Key Biscayne FC's Tristan Alford nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandre Marrodan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Alexandre Marrodan came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Key Biscayne FC's Steve Hogan. But to his dismay, Steve Hogan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 36th minute Steve Hogan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Marrodan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Marrodan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Kelley in the 38th minute of play. Alexandre Marrodan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Hyatt went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvar Paul to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Marrodan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 51st minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. 61 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Kelley notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Manuel Rodríguez 1186's Alexandre Marrodan. Alexandre Marrodan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Key Biscayne FC's Steve Hogan got a free kick in the 65th minute. Alexandre Marrodan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Steve Hogan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 68 minute of play. Alexandre Marrodan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Kelley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tristan Alford hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Jose Aballay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rickey Joseph having to make a save. Lorenzo Kelley's late challenge caught a Manuel Rodríguez 1186's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Kelley helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, Key Biscayne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Kelley to maneuver through the defense. Alex Hyatt kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When the match was over Key Biscayne FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Manuel Rodríguez 1186 throughout the match.
