Bert Pöggeler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baiona Abad in the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Atarratze Maeztu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Baiona Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bert Pöggeler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Abello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After a rather tough play, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Lain Abeita got a free kick in the 38th minute. Gergori Hortuño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Abaunza having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Mete y Raspa FC's Donzel Elano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justino Abaunza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 46 minutes, Cristos Landeta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mete y Raspa FC and the Discípulos de Ayn Rand players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mete y Raspa FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cristos Landeta hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baiona Abad got free with Bert Pöggeler in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donzel Elano made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Mete y Raspa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rius Garaizar to maneuver through the defense. Cidro Abajas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bert Pöggeler. Mete y Raspa FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bert Pöggeler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lain Abeita in the 58th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goal looked a bit too open when Donzel Elano came free, but Justino Abaunza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justino Abaunza came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Mete y Raspa FC's Gergori Hortuño. But to his dismay, Gergori Hortuño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gartxot Buisan kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Cidro Abajas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bert Pöggeler skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Nicodemo Abeita got a free kick in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Baiona Abad notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Mete y Raspa FC's Bert Pöggeler. Bert Pöggeler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bert Pöggeler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baiona Abad's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Cidro Abajas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bert Pöggeler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Justino Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donzel Elano in the 87th minute of play. Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Justino Abaunza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Discípulos de Ayn Rand from getting a goal against them. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
