Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Capo de Provincia's Arnoldo Semir started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Capo de Provincia's Arnoldo Semir got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After having played for 3 minutes, Patrick Fontenot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cosmos Soccer Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Fontenot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nicky Cavazos came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Cosmos Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicky Cavazos couldn't finish the play. Cosmos Soccer Club's Jarrett Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Semir in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Avaria came free, but Jarrett Rosenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Capo de Provincia were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Cosmos Soccer Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Epifanío Mejia took the corner. A collision led to Capo de Provincia getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alexis Byers hit a great ball. Jarrett Rosenberg came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Capo de Provincia's Jeronimo Avaria. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Avaria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ivelin Kúchev kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Arnoldo Semir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capo de Provincia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Semir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute Jeronimo Avaria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrett Rosenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Jeronimo Avaria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capo de Provincia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Semir in the 38th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarrett Rosenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Semir in the 40th minute of the match. Patrick Fontenot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Cosmos Soccer Club defense, Arnoldo Semir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarrett Rosenberg. The Cosmos Soccer Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarrett Rosenberg should have stopped the shot. Donovan Heath hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrick Fontenot to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Capo de Provincia's Jeronimo Avaria got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute Nicky Cavazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baudelio Santa Ana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Semir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeronimo Avaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarrett Rosenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Avaria in the 64th minute of play. Cosmos Soccer Club's Patrick Fontenot got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Capo de Provincia getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Arnoldo Semir hit a great ball. In the 81st minute David Pizarro suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 81 minutes, Donovan Heath mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosmos Soccer Club and the Capo de Provincia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Capo de Provincia's Cosme Amorini was substituted for David Pizarro. In the 83rd match minute, Cosmos Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donovan Heath to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Capo de Provincia's Jeronimo Avaria got a free kick in the 87th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Capo de Provincia's Jeronimo Avaria slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jarrett Rosenberg. That made the score 2-4 after 97 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Capo de Provincia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
