After 2 played minutes La Mandarina Mecánica got a freekick which was hit by Ostadar Abellaneda. Borussia Dortmund's Fernandez Quintairos got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sendoa Aballe hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Telo Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandez Quintairos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constancio Abecia hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, La Mandarina Mecánica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ostadar Abellaneda to maneuver through the defense. Santikurtz Paza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Telo Abalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Telo Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santikurtz Paza in the 24th minute of play. When Borussia Dortmund's Santikurtz Paza in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner led to Borussia Dortmund's Santikurtz Paza getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Telo Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandez Quintairos in the 31st minute of play. Telo Abalos came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Borussia Dortmund's Santikurtz Paza. But to his dismay, Santikurtz Paza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Santikurtz Paza took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telo Abalos. Telo Abalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. La Mandarina Mecánica's Telo Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Lampez in the 42nd minute of play. Santikurtz Paza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertran Castillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Telo Abalos. La Mandarina Mecánica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Fernandez Quintairos made the kick off in the second half. Telo Abalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Lampez in the 51st minute. A hard shot 54 in the game by Fernandez Quintairos from a close distance when the talented Telo Abalos managed to make a qualified save. La Mandarina Mecánica's players were relieved. La Mandarina Mecánica's Telo Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reimundo Olarria in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Mecánica's goalkeeper Telo Abalos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reimundo Olarria. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernandez Quintairos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Telo Abalos. That made the score 0-4 in the 77 minute of play. Victorio Abella's late challenge caught a Borussia Dortmund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Abella helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, La Mandarina Mecánica's Victorio Abella got a free kick in the 79th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Fernandez Quintairos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandez Quintairos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santikurtz Paza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telo Abalos having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Henrique Lampez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of La Mandarina Mecánica booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulizes Pruano didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Mandarina Mecánica's Leobardo Abajas got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 minutes, Rami Tolentin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borussia Dortmund and the La Mandarina Mecánica players grew even worse after the yellow card.
