The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xoan Barbera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Bret Caudill made a huge save. When S.D. Damian Callahan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led S.D. Bajen's Damian Callahan to fire away a dangerous shot which Froila Espin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bret Caudill made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Xoan Barbera sent off a good shot on target. Rius Elvira was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 34 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Woodrow Baggett came free, but Froila Espin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match S.D. Bajen got a corner. Golden Dragón F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damian Callahan ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenzo Rosen in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froila Espin saved Golden Dragón F.C from getting behind. After 39 played minutes S.D. Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Murillo. Bret Caudill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Pereta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bret Caudill made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Xoan Barbera sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Golden Dragón F.C's Dodorol Dosal got a free kick in the 47th minute. Froila Espin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Callahan in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Woodrow Baggett was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Froila Espin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Rosen. 55 minutes into the game, Adrian Murillo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Golden Dragón F.C's Dodorol Dosal quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 董岚城 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Froila Espin made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xoan Barbera in the 59th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Bret Caudill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65thth minute of the game Xoan Barbera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.D. Bajen's Bret Caudill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bret Caudill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rius Elvira, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute of the match Golden Dragón F.C got a corner. S.D. Bajen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Walme Labandera ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Golden Dragón F.C's Joaquim Pereta got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Golden Dragón F.C's Mitxaut Bargues was substituted for Joaquim Pereta. Joaquim Pereta hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute Mitxaut Bargues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bret Caudill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Adrian Murillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Xoan Barbera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
